Albert Triola is Senior Vice President Support Renewal Sales EMEA at Oracle. From this position, and as leader of a team of support professionals who manage the relationship with Oracle technology customers in the region, part of his role is to help customers maximize the use of Oracle technology through their support contracts, with proactive tools and best practices. He combines his role as Senior Vice President EMEA with that of Country Leader for Oracle Spain, a position he has held since June 2020.
Prior to joining Oracle in July 2010, and throughout a whole decade, Albert Triola held different key positions in Sun Microsystems: from Marketing and Business Development Director for Spain to Vice President of Services business for EMEA, through business development or management key roles for the company.
Triola has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and has two Executive Programs, related to management and leadership, at IESE and the London Business School. He has been recognized twice by HITEC as one of the most influential professionals in the IT industry. After more than 30 years of experience in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Alliances, he defines himself as passionate about innovation and technology and as a professional "who still keeps alive a great curiosity to learn new things every day".
