Alberto Granados is the President of Microsoft Spain since July 2021. The executive is the leader of a 900 people team focused on supporting Spanish companies and public organizations in their digital transformation journey.
Alberto Granados brings over 30 years of leadership experience in technology industry. He joined Microsoft in 1995 coming from AT&T and he has held several leadership positions, including Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations for Asia-Pacific region and General Manager of the Enterprise and Partner Group for Latin America region.
In his previous stage at Microsoft Spain, he held many significant roles for the company, such as Director of Consulting Services, Director of Enterprise Solutions and Director of Large Enterprises.
Most recently, Granados held the position of Vice President of Digital Transformation Partnerships at Microsoft Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic digitalization projects of large multinational organizations in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Alberto Granados studied Computer Science at Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds postgraduate degrees at IESE -University of Navarra-, INSEAD, MIT Sloan School of Management, Saïd Business School (Oxford University) and Harvard Business School.
Alberto Granados is also External Assessor of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
