Carlos Murillo is the Country President of Spain. He has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical market, 18 of them at Pfizer, with different roles of progressive responsibility, including country and business unit leadership, as well as a proven record of building teams, developing talent and cultivating key business and government relationships outside the organization.

 

Carlos joined Pfizer in 2005 where he started the commercial operation of the company in Bolivia. He was later promoted to Business Unit Director for Primary Care in Chile and then named Chief of Staff for the Regional President, based in the company headquarters in NY.  In 2013, Carlos was appointed as Country Manager for Pfizer Chile. In August 2017, Carlos was appointed as Country Manager for Pfizer Brazil. In 2020 he was promoted to President of Latin America.  On September 2022 Carlos was appointed Country President of Spain with the mission to fulfill the company’s purpose of bringing “Breakthroughs that change patients´ lives” to positively impact the citizens of Spain.

 

Carlos is graduated in Economy and Business Administration and with a Master of International Management from Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management – summa  cum laude.
