Lino joined Google in 2008 and has since lived and worked in many different roles and countries. In September 2024 he started his role as VP for Iberia looking after Google interest in the region. He remains acting as Global Client Partner, until a new leader is appointed, overseeing a team dedicated to leading Google’s deep engagement with some of the biggest giants such as Unilever, GSK, L’Oreal, Nestle, LVMH, VW and BMW among others.
Before he was in charge of a number of markets, Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa, based in Dubai for 5 years, Managing Director for Mexico for 3 years and before that for Argentina for 2 years. He also held the role of Leader for the Strategy Team for Online Media Solutions in Google’s California HQ in Mountain View, and started at Google in Dublin in charge of the Online Sales Organization for Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
Prior to joining Google, Lino held various managerial positions at AOL Latin America, including as President for LATAM and their subsidiary in Argentina. He has also been very active in the industry currently as Board Member of MMA Europe and previously as Chairman of IAB Mexico as well as board member of AMCHAM in Mexico and Argentina.
