Member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain, representing Santander Spain since July 2020.
 
Since March 2020, Mr. Isasi has been President of Santander Spain. He also serves as a member of the Board of Banco Santander and a member of its Risk, Compensation, and Executive Committees since May 2020.
 
From March 2020 until January 1st, 2024, he was a Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley, after stepping down as Executive Chairman and Country Head of Morgan Stanley in Spain, a position he held for 33 years.
From 1984 to 1987, he was an Executive Director at First Chicago Ltd. in London, responsible for Spain and Portugal.
 
Before that, he worked for three years at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company (later called JP Morgan) in New York as an Assistant Treasurer in its Latin American Department.
 
Until October 2020, he served for nine years as a Board Member of Grifols S.A., where he was Chairman of its Audit Committee and a member of its Appointments and Remuneration Committee. He has also been member of the Board of the Madrid Stock Exchange and of Madrileña Red de Gas, S.A.
 
Since September 2020, he has been an Independent Board Member of Logista Integral SA and a member of its Appointments and Remuneration Committee. He was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board in September 2023 and Non-Executive Chairman following the Shareholders' Meeting on February 2nd, 2024.
 
He is First Vice Chairman of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, a Patron of the SAFA Foundation, and a Member of the Círculo de Empresarios, the Seres Foundation, and the Forética Foundation.
 
He graduated in 1978 with a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville, where he worked at Abengoa from 1977 to 1980. In 1982, he earned an MBA from Columbia University in New York, graduating with honors (Beta Gamma Sigma). He was born in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) in 1956. He is married, has three children, and two granddaughters. He resides in Madrid.
