On March 20th, we held a dialogue with the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Salvador Illa, who met with over 70 senior executives from our partner companies in Madrid.
During the event, Illa emphasized the importance of attracting foreign investment, especially from the U.S., to drive the growth and prosperity of Catalonia, as well as the need to attract key business projects. He also urged the attendees to trust and invest in the region, highlighting its stability and opportunities.
For his part, Jaime Malet, President of AmChamSpain, praised President Illa's leadership and highlighted Spain as a safe destination for investment, with the capacity to lead in strategic sectors such as energy, technology, and industry.
